New Site and Sorcery 101 page 1124

New page of Sorcery 101 is up!

Also, as you can see there is a new site design. Since some of you asked for comments to stick around, I’ll now have a news post with every comic that you can comment on. All the urls for exact pages have been updated. I still have some redos to do so if I plan to replace a page the url will be numbers and all redone pages have the urls based on their page numbers.

Also, in the comic section you will notice three new comics on listed. All of them are print only. One is I Will Return, my short in the Womanthology space collection, which is now for sale. Another is Love Lorn my short for the comic collection Smut Peddler, which is in my store. Finally, there is Clark Collins and the Exponential Attraction, a teen detective story I did for Dark Horse Presents. It will be available in March.

As I said in my last news post I will be at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. I’m sharing a table with Kory Bing, Magnolia Porter, Dave Willis, Meredith McClaren, and Tyler Crook. Tyler posted a map that shows how to find our table, so I grabbed it from his site.

Also, I’m still working on redos. So to keep you updated here is my to do list.

  1. aaaaaaah. So. many. clicks. needed. to. view. comic.

it’s actually really annoying. REALLY annoying. I’ll likely just change my link to the newest comic. Which will skip any news you have. Not sure if that’s a trade off you’re happy with, but I really don’t like the extra steps needed to view the comic I want to see.

    1. While I understand your frustration, you need to understand my position. The old site set up wasn’t serving my needs artistically or professionally. I needed a new site that would highlight the other comics more and would aid in my getting freelance work. Why? Because those are the things that support Sorcery 101 enough to make it free. The site and how I approached things was different when Sorcery 101 was the comic attracting people attention and paying the bills. But now, in Sorcery 101’s last year, that just isn’t the case.

You are certainly free to just book mark the Sorcery 101 link. However, I will point out that the RSS feed will send links to the newest page directly to you.

      1. If thats what you think is best, then go with it. Just was something I really liked about your old set up compared to other people that run multiple comics – a quick easy way to get between all your work.

Not sure if it’s me or your webpage, but the RSS feed as you linked it and in the nifty graphic up top don’t work for me. It goes to a page with all the html code.

  2. I LOVE the new look. Suits you way better artistically.

I looked at the cover you drew for a chapter of Strange Someone, and Jordan looks EXACTLY like Danny, just a bit younger-looking. Danny doesn’t look his age, but Jordan would. And they mention not being able to enlist “Jordan’s dad” to help with wolf demon.

This makes me think several things: one, Danny has a son we aren’t yet made aware of, probably an older half-brother to Natalie; two, Connor will one day be involved with said son; three: most of Connor’s attitude to Danny is a misplaced crush.
