Meryl is half troll so I tried to use square boxy shapes for her overall look. She has a broad nose and described as brawny. She’s got big hands and is freakishly strong. I looked at the Hulk while drawing her. She first shows up in a blouse and tight jeans. Since the blouse isn’t really described, so I went with something frilly to have something girly contrast her more masculine appearance since in the book she is shown to be sweet despite her troll temper.

Sorcery 101 is now kickstarting a 750 page Omnibus. It is the first half of the whole series! 

Ace is described as stocky and with dark curly hair. I slicked that hair back since Ace is pretty weaselly character and this makes him look harder than his buds. Like with all the changelings I made it so their forehead almost goes straight into the bridge of their nose. So that they are look slightly odd and close to the inhuman fairy look without going too far. Since the description for Ace is a bit sparse when it comes to his facial features I also dug up how his dad is described. So I gave him high cheek bones and a sharp nose.
