Hey folks! I’m gonna be at San Diego Comic Con! I’m be in the small press section (that’s in the center back of the convention) I’ll be at table M-12.

I’ll also be on a panel called Kickstart Your Comic Like a Pro. It’s Saturday on 6:30-7:30 in room 26AB.

I’m also Signing at the Darkhorse booth Sunday at 11am-11:50 am.

I’ll be at VanCAF this weekend. I’ll be at table D5 all weekend. I’ll also be on a panel about fantasy comics on Saturday ay 11:30.

I’m sharing the book with all the fine folks above. We are right near the skybridge and the entrance. We will be right near Iron Circus Comics and Fantagraphics. Come buy and grab some books. Join folklorists and comic creators Jim Zub (Wayward), Colin Lorimer (The Hunt), Kel McDonald (Misfits of Avalon), Brandon Seifert (Witch Doctor), and Zack Davisson (Kitaro) to talk about the unique crossroads created when ancient meets modern.

2:45 – 3:45 – How to Run an Anthology and Not Screw It Up (Room WSCC 604)

Join Kel McDonald (Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales), Spike Trotman (Smut Peddler, New World), Taneka Stotts (Beyond, Elements), and Hope Nicholson (The Secret Loves of Geek Girls) as they go over running various independent comic anthologies. We talk about how we select stories, keep up with artists, and make sure all our i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. This panel will also include information on how these projects were funded and how we market our current and future books.
