The link to the new Sorcery 101 page doesn’t seem to be working. It just takes me back to the main page. Also, when I went to last week’s page, the “next” button was still grayed out as if this week’s page hadn’t been posted.
I am sorry in advance for hair-splitting on magical creatures abilities, but I do not understand why the king can’t stand up, unless it just that the static comic can’t show this entire event happening in a blink of an eye (but then that door was closed fantastically quickly).
Werewolves in this comic can supposedly bench a truck. You can say that Frost is even stronger, however that is completely irrelevant in this arrangement. The maximum force he can use by stepping on the king’s back is about his own weight, no matter how strong he is. That should not be enough to stop a werewolf from standing up.
This is not the first time something like this happening in Sorcery 101, sometimes I have the impression these vampires can manipulate gravity.
Also, I imagine a vampire as old and powerful as Frost totally outguns most werewolves. The king is strong, but he can’t have been around too long given he’s Danny’s brother (or is it cousin?) and Danny is only about 40, isn’t he?
Then it makes sense Frost can take him out. A gazillion year old vampire will kick the butt of a young (especially by human standards) werewolf. He’s probably stepping on a pressure-point, too.

I get the impression it had nothing to do with the king’s lack of strength and more to do with Frost’s speed.

Danny is 36. Damien (Danny’s cousin) is 29.

Speed is an acceptable answer (if we also assume they did some magic with the door), strength is not. I explained in my first comment why.
